The leader of Cameroon’s Ambazonia separatist movement, Sisiku Tabe, along with nine other activists, is set to appear before the Supreme Court on December 18. All ten are serving life sentences at Yaoundé Principal Prison following their 2019 arrest in Nigeria and deportation to Cameroon. Sentenced in the absence of their lawyers, their appeal was upheld by the Mfoundi Appeal Court. After five years, the Supreme Court will finally hear the case.
