We rarely discuss our communication outside just the two of us, but today we share some dynamics in my hearing family with Ryan being Deaf. I've seen Ryan overcome communication barriers and noticed that people often miss a key part of talking with a deaf person. My family has learned to communicate with Ryan over our years of dating, and I hope this provides insight into deaf and hearing relationships.
