ಇಂದಿನ ಕಥೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ...
ನಾನು ಅನಾಥಳಾಗಿದ್ದೆ. ಅಡುಗೆ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕೋಡ ಕರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅತ್ತೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಒಳಗಡೆ ಬಂದಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹೇಳಿದಳು "ಇಂದು ಮತ್ತೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ.. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮದುವೆಗೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವರದಕ್ಷಿಣೆಯ ಗತಿ ಏನು..?" ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಅವಳು ಕುದಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದಳು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖ ಬೆಂದು ಹೋಯಿತು. ಅತ್ತೆ ಗೃಹಗಹಿಸಿ ನಗುತ್ತಾ.. "ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ? ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ." ನಾನು ನರಳುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆ.. ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ತಪ್ಪಿದೆ ಆನಂತರ...
