This is Peru!?! First Impressions of Lima

Описание: Explore Peru's vibrant culture with us, in the bustling streets of Lima! From historic Plaza Mayor to the flavors of El Chinito we're seeing the city's greatest sights, experiencing the passion of the locals, and discovering the national cocktail at Hotel Bolivar and the Museo del Pisco!

After the changing of the guard at the Government Palace, we begin the day in Plaza Mayor where we take in the Lima Cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace, and so much stunning architecture. Next we visit the Basilica and Covenant of Santo Domingo and Casa de Osambela when we hear a parade! We still have no idea what the parade was for, but it was so fun to see the vibrant colors, music and dances. Next we try chicharron sandwiches at El Chinito, visit the Basilica and Convent of San Fransisco, and take in the incredible views at Muninet Parque La Muralla.

The next stop is shopping at Mercado Central and Chinatown, visiting Church of La Merced and Jiron de la Union, and sipping pisco sours at Gran HOtel Bolivar off of San Martin Square. We finish the night back in Plaza Mayor, enjoying the city lights, and sipping unique pisco drinks at Museo del Pisco. We already LOVE Peru and can't wait to explore more in the next video!!!

For Ivan, a former NASA engineer, it is creating an engineering product that will change the world!
