Investing can seem intimidating so let’s walk through the basics of investing for beginners! We’ll talk about Stocks, ETFs, Mutual Funds and Index Funds. Then we’ll go step by step through how to buy investments using the Fidelity Website and Mobile App. I'll use T, VOO, and FZROX as my examples but I'll also show you how to use the stock screener to identify potential investments that meet your own criteria.
You might already be investing through your 401K provider so we talk about how to identify the management fees you are being charged by looking for the fund's expense ratio. We also talk about Dividends and how they can serve as a great form of passive income but not a reliable source of income.
