Today I will show you how to carve a soap sculpture! This soap carving step by step tutorial is designed for a high school or middle school art class, but an be done at home and with younger students/artists. This tutorial will show you how to carve a soap sculpture and is my organic abstraction lesson for my 9th-12th 3D Design students. This soap carving lesson will show you how to create an abstract carving focusing on organic abstraction, how to create negative space and how to create a sculpture that is in the round. Grab your carving tools, or your spoon and knife, and let's make art!
