It’s a pretty unknown game compared to others, and I felt like it deserved a fan story. I haven’t seen anyone else do it so far.

I created this story around 2023/2024. It wasn’t public, though it was just something personal, like a lot of my other stories. I didn’t really have the courage to upload them, or maybe I just wanted to have fun with it.

Plazma Burst became my favorite game, no doubt :D
At first, I made a story in PB2 about the protagonist crashing down in a capsule and having to survive like the Marine from the second game. After some time, I wanted to give it more background starting from FTTP, building an actual chronology. I thought it would just be a short, quick DLC, but I decided to expand it into something bigger, maybe even longer than the original.

Since FTTP doesn’t have a level editor, it has to be a show that simulates a videogame at least until PB2, where I’ll continue the story in PB2’s style. That part will probably be playable on the PB2 website by copying the map IDs. Still, it won’t be playable from Level 1 to the end in one mandatory sequence, so the series will always come first.

To clarify: PB FTTP won’t be playableee it’ll only be watchable on YouTube for now, at least until the story is finished.

I was going to upload a remake using the same levels as before, but I felt like they were badly made because I had just started learning more about FTTP. So I redid Levels 1, 2, and 3 to make them as faithful as possible.

I alsooo changed the name. “Lost Journey” felt kind of childish… though now it’s still part of the story as the subtitle after Chapter 1.

To recreate FTTP’s style, I had to use a lot of tricks like modifying an older version of PB2 through the files. I learned how to swap sounds with the ones from PB FTTP and replace the skins with my own custom ones. (When I did that, I think custom skins weren’t implemented in the newer version yet. And since Flash doesn’t support it properly, I still have to keep doing it this way.)

I also made the maps in Paint cutting them apart and stitching them together, using invisible doors as decorations. It’s hard to explain if you’ve never done it, but it took a lot of work for just one person. I’d honestly love to have rial voice actors instead of using AI.

More info about the main story: Soldier is the -prota-gonist who has to travel to the past the same mission as the Marine and Noir Lime from the original. The difference is, he went alone. He was highly trained, and they trusted him to handle it solo. But something went wrong, and he was transported to an unknown planet. He had the terrible luck of appearing several meters underground and fell, getting badly injured. He barely survived and had to infiltrate from there. He doesn’t talk much almost at all. His armor is based on a customizable one from the second game, just with different colors.

Fuun faaaact: at first, Soldier had the voice of Ethan Winters RESIDENT EVIL 7/8 only when he died. I used his death screams because I liked how they soundeed. But I decided to remove it before making anything public because I wanted the characters to feel more original.
