06.05.2022 | 2:00 PM | AMADOR COUNTY - Day 2 to of Electra Fire has shown a strong increase in fire behavior and has prompted new evacuations to the east of the fire as it continues to make strong up canyon runs.
The fire is currently threatening a neighborhood on the Amador County side.
A USFS battalion chief assigned to division yankee explains the dangers and the difficult firefight and the current situations as firefighters are protecting homes, and still remains a “significant threat.” (see SOT)
The closest address to where the fire is burning close to homes is 10915 Quail Dr, Pine Grove, CA.
The smoke columns that continue to build can be seen from miles away.
Air tankers and Helicopters continue the attack from the sky as 100s of ground resources have began to pour in since last night.
