16 minutes of video is lapsed into just 15 seconds using any version of the Vegas editing software and a simple trick. The Vegas software allows time to be compressed by a maximum of a factor of four. The video shows time lapse by a factor of 64. By repeating the process one more time a time lapse factor of 256 can be done, and even more is possible. The render time get shorter with each cycle.
I tried to video a sun rise but my cell phone camera could not handle the brightness of the sun. I assume I need a camera with filters or something. Let me know in the comments if you have a cool idea for something to time lapse.
