Liver Cancer - Story of a Paramedic Turned Patient

Описание: While working tirelessly to save lives as a paramedic, he was unknowingly falling sick. An unassuming shortness of breath felt after sending his patient to the hospital quickly spiralled into a life-changing diagnosis of liver cirrhosis for Mr Kamal. A few years on, the hepatitis B carrier’s liver cirrhosis progressed to liver cancer. Battling liver cancer through the past 5 years has been a herculean task for both Mr Kamal and his family, having to go through various treatments and therapy. Often, caregivers and family members find themselves feeling lost and uncertain of what to expect especially with repeated hospital admissions.

A story of resilience and strength from Malihha, wife and caregiver to Mr Kamal, who was diagnosed with liver cancer since 2016. She shares about Mr Kamal’s journey with liver cancer and how she stayed positive through it all with their 4 children.
