In this video I have explained the step by step procedure of design of one way slab by using IS -456-2000.
A one-way slab is an RCC slab in which the load is mainly transferred in one direction. This type of slab occurs when the ratio of longer span to shorter span is greater than 2. Bending is predominant along the shorter span, and reinforcement is provided mainly in that direction.
