In this heart-wrenching documentary-style interview, we traveled with the Al-Khair Khidmat Foundation team from Jamia Khair-ul-Madaris, Multan, to the flood-affected region of Seetpur, Alipur (Pakistan). The area has been devastated by recent floods, causing massive loss of life and property.

In the midst of this tragedy, we met a local religious scholar who has been tirelessly helping the affected community. He shared with us a deeply emotional and unforgettable story:

A mother, desperate to know the fate of her missing child who was left behind during the sudden rise of floodwaters, approached the relief team. With tears in her eyes, she begged them to just inform her whether her son was alive or not. In exchange, she offered all the wheat stored in her house — nearly 5 maunds (200kg) — just for that one piece of information.

This is not just a story — it's a reflection of the pain, sacrifice, and helplessness faced by flood victims in Pakistan. These stories are happening every day, yet many remain unheard.
