From the moment we flew from Delhi to Leh, surrounded by endless mountains from above, every day brought a new landscape, a new story and a new feeling.

We took some time to acclimatize before slowly beginning to explore, experiencing the streets, culture, food and everyday life of Leh. Over the next few days, the journey took us through ancient monasteries, peaceful villages, dramatic mountain roads, high-altitude passes and some of the most unreal landscapes we’ve ever witnessed.

There were moments of excitement too — watching a plane land against the mountains, experiencing an ATV ride, crossing some incredible passes and travelling through landscapes that constantly made us stop and look around.

But among everything we experienced, Turtuk became one of my favourite memories of the entire Ladakh trip.We spent nearly three hours wandering through the beautiful village, taking in its traditional homes, peaceful streets, culture and surroundings. Honestly, I didn’t feel like leaving. A part of me wanted to stay there for another one or two days.

Our journey then took us towards Siachen, where the landscapes became even more dramatic. We also got a glimpse into the history and sacrifices of the brave warriors who served in one of the world's highest battlefields.

And then came Pangong. 💙

The journey towards the lake itself was unforgettable, but finally standing beside those blue waters felt almost unreal. We witnessed a beautiful double rainbow, watched the mountains change colours and spent a peaceful evening simply taking it all in.

The next morning gave us one final magical moment — sunrise over Pangong. Golden light slowly touched the snow-covered peaks, the colours reflected across the lake, and everything around us became incredibly quiet and peaceful.

For a moment, it didn’t feel like we were travelling anymore.

It felt like we were simply present.

And perhaps that’s what made this *Ladakh journey* so special.

As we finally started our way back to Leh, crossing another breathtaking mountain pass, we knew the journey was coming to an end. But the landscapes, the people, the stories and those little moments along the way were memories we would carry long after leaving Ladakh.
