Описание: Heavy downpour that lashed parts of Delhi NCR on Friday evening for about an hour have exposed the effectiveness of preparations made by the government to deal with the season.While the entire region grappled with water-logging problems after the rains, the most shocking images were from Delhi’s Minto road where due to high amount of water-logging under the Minto Bridge some buses got submerged. The passengers who were present inside the buses were safely evacuated.Torrential rains have hit different parts of the North Capital Region following heavy overcast conditions that had plunged the city into near darkness during the afternoon hours, prompting vehicles to ply with headlights on. Daily commuters suffered the worst due to long hours of traffic jams.
