UDF workers held a protest march towards the MLA office of PWD Minister PA Muhammed Riyas at Cheruvannur on March 15 alleging that his supporters are threatening officers and municipal authority. “Minister’s team is trying to frighten municipal authorities of Ramanattukara and Feroke,” alleged DCC President K Praveen Kumar while inaugurating the march. Police blocked the march and used water cannon to disperse the protesters.
