I also forgot to mention the long-distance chargers on order, which will have a top speed of 125MPH. When I wrote the script, I didn't find it necessary to mention this, but now that there is confirmed footage of one of these 75 new "ALC-4s" (numbered 300-374) at the Siemens Mobility factory in California, it kind of is worth mentioning. Basically, these units will be used on long-distance routes with a top speed of 125MPH, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they will hit those speeds. Track conditions other than the routes mentioned likely won't be upgraded much, but nonetheless, it's another step towards the future in terms of speed and emissions.
