But this peaceful food sharing is a testament to the bonds they’ve forged growing up together as orphans. In Indonesian Borneo, at the largest primate rescue and rehabilitation project in the world, orangutan orphans, all carrying the weight of traumatic pasts, progress through a unique Jungle School system.
