These motors are well known for failing in VAG Group cars,leaving you without heat either on the right side(V159) or on the left side(V158).Replacing them with new ones is very expensive but you don't really have to replace them! They CAN be fixed for most of the time even if the diagnostics show permanent damage to them because it's not the motor itself that failed but the potentiometer inside it!
