Some weeks feel heavier than others.
The maintenance list is growing, the jobs are becoming more demanding, and at times it feels like it’s getting on top of me.
But this week also marks something special — 35 years of marriage. Through boats, countries, challenges and change, we’re still navigating life together.
We visit Arnhem and Oosterbeek, places forever linked to Operation Market Garden during WWII. Standing in the Airborne Museum and walking among the graves of the Allied Cemetery is a sobering reminder of sacrifice, courage, and history that shaped this region.
We continue to remember the Jewish families taken from their homes during the occupation — names that must never be forgotten.
Boat life is not just travel. It’s work, reflection, gratitude, and perspective.
