Tens of millions of Pakistanis are preparing to vote in a general election on Wednesday after a campaign tainted by violence and dominated by political controversy.
They might not necessarily win many seats - but their presence ensures hardline views are becoming part of the political mainstream in that country.
One of those most likely to gather a significant number of votes is a new party - created by clerics calling for even stricter punishments for blasphemers. Secunder Kermani has been to meet them.
