Caravanning to Brewarrina, Bourke, Cobar - Outback NSW Travel Australia Full-Time

Описание: This week, we explore the rugged outback of New South Wales, visiting river towns like Brewarrina, Bourke, and Cobar.

Brewarrina: Found a free camp by the Barwon River with amenities like toilets, a fishing jetty, and a gym. Despite a noisy night, we enjoyed fishing and visiting the historic Barwon Bridge, built in 1888.
Bourke: The information centre offered insights into the town's history and activities, including a self-guided museum tour. We camped at FREE CAMP Mayes Bend, which has stunning views of the Darling River. Aboard the Jandra paddleboat, we enjoyed wildlife and river tales. Bourke Wharf, once a busy port, now offers a peaceful spot to appreciate the river's beauty. We also saw a 1923 stationary engine and paid tribute to Fred Hollows, whose legacy remains in the area.
Cobar: Reba Park Free Camp. Cobar is a mining town known for its copper discovery in 1870. In the rugged and beautiful Cobar area in Outback NSW, be amazed by Aboriginal rock art, fascinating museums, historic buildings and the rural town of Nyngan.
