Please note that the purpose of Valet mode is to prevent unauthorised access to the boot/trunk area. As this is also where the battery lives it is vital that you dont enable Valet mode without the means to get back in the trunk later.
WARNINGS. Lots of people lock themselves out of their boot/trunk because they dont heed the below two warnings. The X100 trunk not only contains the battery, but is like a vault and you will need to cause significant damage to gain access if you lock yourself out of it
If you ONLY have the green key. DO NOT PRESS VALET.
Get a programmed Black key from Jaguar immediately
If your 'secret' Boot release keyhole does not work with the black key, DO NOT PRESS VALET.
Get the release mechanism fixed as a priority.
