Today, I’m revealing the secret to cooking a Thick-Cut Ribeye (4cm / 1.5 inches) that rivals the most expensive steakhouses. The combination of a perfect sear, an oven finish, and a rich Red Wine Sauce creates a flavor explosion! 🤤🍷
And for the perfect side dish? I’m making Crispy Air Fryer Baby Potatoes that are ready exactly when the meat is done resting.

👇 TIMING & TEMPERATURE GUIDE:
🥩 STEAK (Oven): Preheat to 180°C (350°F). After searing in the pan, bake for:
Rare: 4–5 minutes
Medium Rare (Recommended): 6–7 minutes
Medium: 8–9 minutes (Rest for 10 minutes!)
🥔 POTATOES (Air Fryer):
Temperature: 180°C (350°F)
Time: 20 minutes
Shake the basket halfway through for extra crunch!
⚠️ IMPORTANT TIP: The steak recipe is designed for THICK cuts (approx. 4cm / 1.5 inches). If your steak is thin (1 inch or less), simply pan-sear it and skip the oven.

2 Large Ribeye Steaks (Thick cut)
50g (3.5 tbsp) Butter
Garlic & Fresh Rosemary
150ml (2/3 cup) Dry Red Wine
150ml (2/3 cup) Beef Broth
Salt & Black Pepper
Vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Potatoes:
500g (1.1 lbs) Baby Potatoes
Olive Oil
Dried Garlic, Paprika, Herbs (Rosemary/Thyme)
Salt
