The talk introduces the Agentic Search Queryset (ASQ), a groundbreaking dataset that captures how reasoning-driven agents interact with search systems through intermediate queries and retrieved documents. By analyzing trace lengths, query transitions, and search behaviors across multiple agent architectures, this work reveals fundamental differences between human and agentic search patterns—challenging decades of assumptions in IR design and opening pathways for systems optimized for the age of autonomous agents.
