Transatlantic Tech and Security: A Conversation with EU Commissioner Thierry Breton

Описание: The Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is delighted to host Thierry Breton, Commissioner for Internal Market of the European Union, for a conversation on EU-US cooperation in support of Ukraine and collaboration on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. In particular Commissioner Breton will present the EU’s strategy that is aimed at making industries – such as the clean tech sector – more globally competitive and resilient.

The event will take place on Friday, January 27rd at 9:00am (EST) at CSIS headquarters. After opening remarks from CSIS president and CEO Dr. John Hamre, Commissioner Breton will deliver keynote remarks and engage in a fireside conversation with Max Bergmann, director of the Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program and the Stuart Center at CSIS.
