Samuel Andreyev Lecture at the Royal Academy of Music, London

Описание: On January 11th 2019, I gave a lecture at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. My talk centered around some of the compositional problems I faced at the outset of my career, and the means by which I ultimately attempted to address them.

My thanks go out to the whole RAM team that allowed this event to happen, and particularly to Morgan Hayes. I'd also like to thank the students who attended the event, for their interesting questions.

In my talk, I focus on my recent Cantata for solo soprano and chamber ensemble, Iridescent Notation. A commercial recording has been made but will not be released until the spring. Consequently, I have unfortunately had to excise the recording from this lecture. Once the audio is released, I will post a link here.
