Biography
"Just a name and not a way of life."

These words were attached to a once legendary rock group from Cavite, Philippines. Formed in 1998, Stagnant were one of the region's finest acts ever to emerge and had the strong potential to penetrate the mainstream music scene, long before well-known post-core and modern rock groups came.

They also were one of the pioneering bands at the annually held Kaguluhan Music Festival in their home region that supported its local acts respectively.

Unfortunately, due to personal differences and priorities within the group, Stagnant suddenly disbanded in 2008 and formed other bands thereafter.

The band was known for their singles "Iron Lung", "Mellow Drama Sunday", "Kangaroo" and the fan favorite "Stella De Oro
