Описание: We recently did our own test on similar frame foundation as was performed by other youtube channel beekeepers ‪@FrederickDunn‬, JC's Bees, and ‪@brucesbees‬. While both of those videos were informative, we wanted to see for ourselves how these two commonly used bee frame foundation performed.

Acorn has been our go-to frame foundation for several years now. We like their heavy(Triple)waxed coating that helps the bees drawn out a good even frame of comb. However, a newer product has been taking the foundation market by storm with their foundation that is supposed to have a "cleaner" wax derived from wax cappings.

We decided to test them each for ourselves in a head-to-head, and here were our results:

OUR FINDINGS: We didn't see a tremendous difference in the ACORN heavy waxed and PREMIER heavy waxed foundations with the exception of a slight edge goes to the PREMIER foundation for the amount of drawn comb (end-to-end) on majority of the test frames. Neither had "wonky comb" and they both had a good comb structure.

The real difference may be in the price point for each, since the output results were similar.
