Begin sitting on the floor, bend both knees with your feet on the floor. Then bend your left knee and tuck your foot in front of your right hip. Bend your right knee and place it over your left thigh. Pull up through your lower back, press your right fingertips on to the floor behind you and raise your left arm upward extending through your fingers. Rotate your upper body to your right, take your left elbow to your outer right thigh, feel the stretch increasing. Move your left elbow to the outside of your right knee, so that your armpit is as close as possible to your knee. Clasp your right foot with your left hand and straighten your arm. Wrap your right hand around the back of your body and try to tuck into the bent leg if you can reach. Gaze over your right shoulder. Take five breaths in this position. To release the posture, uncurl your arms and legs back to sitting. Repeat on the opposite side.
