Описание: Welcome to the remastered recording of the Fall for Science Jefferson Lab 2021 Virtual Field Trip for Families event. Our audience journeyed along with us to visit many of our unique facilities in this live online event, and now you can, too! We'll take an exclusive tour through the lab's Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility, including the accelerator and three experimental halls. There, you'll learn about our research inside the nucleus of the atom and the incredible equipment that makes it all work. We will also go behind the scenes of world-leading particle accelerator research and development in the SRF Institute and tour through some of the largest superfluid helium refrigerators in the world in the rarely accessible Central Helium Liquefier. Following a pre-recorded and detailed tour in each area, our experts answered questions from viewers live.
