Gourd Bowl.
This project is quite time consuming, but worth it when you see the end product.
The materials to create the gourd is as follow:
Gourd
Dremel
Drilling bit
Wood cutter
Sanding bit
Tjoko paint / Chalk paint
Gold paint
Gold sparypaint
Follow the steps:
1. Draw the pattern you want to remove on your gourd.
2. Use your dremel with your wood cutting disc, cut out 1 cm away from the gourd.
3. Use your sanding bit and work away until you reach the line.
4. Drill holes on certain parts , using your drilling bit.
5. Use a sponge or paint brush and chalk paint and paint the outside of your gourd. Let dry between the layers.
6. Spraypaint the inside of your gourd withgold spraypaint.
7. Go around the edges with gold paint to create a border.
This project would take about 3 days to finish. You can use any colours on your gourd and use a different patterns.
