This is a guitar shootout between 7 different guitars that I own. Although no shootout is perfect, this will hopefully demonstrate the tonal differences between guitars when EQ and amp settings remain constant.
In an ideal world, you would adjust an amp to balance the sound of the guitar. If you find some guitars to be too dark sounding or too bright, keep in mind that I had to pick settings that were a middleground between the instruments. That ALL sound very good with a little bit of knob tweaking to balance their sound well.
All clips recorded with the guitar on the bridge pickup.
Overdrive tones from 0:25 to 3:14
Clean tones from 3:15 to 7:24
