Описание: STEM RACING™ INDIA (formerly known as F1 in Schools® India) is a celebration of outstanding STEM achievements The World’s largest STEM Challenge is an education vertical of STEM RACING, marking the culmination of many hours of work of talented youngsters. Now imagine that someone gives you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to design, build and race a miniature Formula 1® car using some of the advanced technology employed by Formula 1® teams. And you get to race the car with the country’s most tech-savvy, innovation-hungry kids!
As grand as hyped, Season 5 was conducted physically, post-pandemic. Thus, the country’s most elite attended this competition among 50+ teams from across 14 cities It was chaired by Mr. Navtez Bal, Executive Director, Microsoft India, who said, “Having such learning experiences, at this age is fantastic!”; Mr. Sanjay Gupta, President and CEO, Minda Corporation, stated,” Watching these young kids doing an amazing work of collaborating so many scientific concepts to build a model at this stage is highly appreciable”; and the Guests of honor included dignitaries like, Mrs. Pooja Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity School of Film and Drama and Vice Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation, stated, “The level of growth and benchmarking that the students have done from Season 1 to Season 5 can be distinctly seen”. Ms. Divya Chauhan, Chairperson of the Amity Arts Foundation, Mr. Rohan Jain, Director, PMV Maltings Pvt Ltd; Mr. Sandeep Arya, Chairman, Chhota Internet; Mr. Virat Kalra, Director, RPC Exports; among Corporates, Principals and Senior Management of many participating schools, all rooting for the next TEAM India.
The Country Chief of F1 in Schools® India, Mr. Yashraj Singh quoted, ‘The idea is to bring an experiential learning experience for the students, where they get a futuristic exposure, to satiate the hunger for their passion’.
Every team has undergone rigorous scrutiny to explore and map the skills that they have enhanced, out of which, the exuberant winners and the champions of the National Finals, making the next TEAM India for the World Finals are Team Blaze, from The British School, New Delhi; Team Urja, from Amity International School, Pusp Vihar, and Team Infinity, a team made in collaboration from across 6 schools. There were around 21 different category awards in various categories that were taken away by the exuberant teams from across the country.
STEM RACING™ INDIA (formerly known as F1 in Schools® India) has been brought to India by STEMplify, an education initiative of Time of Sports Solutions Pvt Ltd®, which caters to 6 other clubs like Artificial Intelligence, Game Coding, Startup Young, etc, who will continue to bring in such events. They are coming up with the next big STEM event of the country, the ‘Drone Wars’, and the chance for students to compete against the best from around the nation for a coveted career in their passion.
‘Drone Wars’ is an event to enter the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles to design, create and fly your drones. Flying drones serves as a great entry point to stimulate curiosity and encourage students to engage in STEM investigations, and this event would be a starting gate for young innovators to ‘evolve in the fantastic World of Drones’.
