Disney is about to drop another Disney Villain live action film with Emma Stone’s Cruella and it looks amazing. This has led to a resurgence of one of the biggest Disney fan arguments of all time. Who is the most powerful Disney villain out there? This is a hard question because Disney villains are often even more iconic than the movies they’re in. They are full of style, power, evil and often have the best songs in the movie to explain just how stylishly evil their powers are.

So we’ll go through some of the best villains that Disney has been dropping since the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. We’ve got Scar from The Lion King, Jafar from Aladdin, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and many more. They will be pitted against some of the more subtle villains like Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame. We’ll also discuss some of the newer villains from films like Frozen, Big Hero 6, Moana and the most recent Raya and the Last Dragon to see if any of them measure up against the iconic villains who came before them.

And no, we won’t be counting Gaston. I know HE thinks he’s the most powerful Disney villain but no one else does.
