The expectation around the NBA is that multiple big time stars will be traded this offseason and for whatever reason within that conversation, the San Antonio Spurs are being forgotten. There are reasons for that yes, for the 1st time in 30 years their head coach will not be Greg Popovich, and Victor Wembanyama missed every game post all-star break with a medical issue, and they only won 34 games last year...
But still! This is as exciting of an up and coming young team as there is in the NBA, and they are extremely well positioned to add their missing piece towards contention this offseason.
