It rang a bell for me as I remembered seeing one on a YouTube video so as soon as I got home I searched it out and made my version. I have seen a lazy version in the shops in the style of a gun. You place the "projectile" at the front on a circular fixing and as you slide it up the barrel it stretches elastic bands,then you add the twists. When you fire the "weapon" it spins up the shaft as it is launched. I didn't buy one but it looked like fun http://zingtoys.com/zing-air/zyclone
