For me, Samal Island (Philippines) and Goa (India) feel completely different in climate, even though both are tropical destinations.
In this video, I share my personal experience living and feeling the climate in both places — not theory, but how my body, skin, and daily life respond to humidity, heat, and rain.
🌬️ Air humidity
Samal has high air humidity, which I personally love.
My skin feels naturally moisturized, I breathe easily, and even inside my nose it feels comfortable.
Samal is more humid than Goa.
Goa has lower humidity, which is mostly comfortable for me, but sometimes my skin feels a bit dry — something that never happens to me in the Philippines.
☀️ Heat
It’s definitely hotter in Samal.
Because of the high humidity, the heat feels stronger and more intense.
Goa feels cooler and fresher, especially at night, in the mornings, and in the evenings — a noticeable difference in everyday life.
🌧️ Rains
Goa has a clear rainy (monsoon) season, usually from June to September or October.
On Samal Island, there is no strong, long monsoon season like in Goa — rains are more spread out during the year.
