HACK: how to transform a Hantek DSO2C10 or DSO2C15 into a DSO2D15 with the Arbitrary Waveform Gen

Описание: A step by step guide. It will cost you ZERO, in 90% of the cases.

On 90% of the DSO2C the AWG hardware is already present on the PCB, in the (rare) case that your unit is not equipped with those 3 components, you may easily buy them on the market and solder them on the PCB, the operation should be very easy and could take some minutes.

Assuming that your scope is equipped with those 3 components, you should only hack the firmware with 3 (very easy!) steps and get a full operating DSO2D15 version, complete of the full operating AWG.

I composed this video using clips that I registered during the first time I did it (I never tried to hack it before...my scope is brand new), so there could be errors in the speech in the beginning, and I had to cut a ton of miniclips inside (the first video version was over 1h 30m!), so you will notice some "jumps" in speech and movements, but all the procedure is correct and correctly explained, step by step and in details, 100% error free.

In my case I did it in few minutes and it worked like a charm, without any kind of problem.

You will need 3 files created by him in order to hack the scope in the easy way, or you will have to edit some internal osci files in a more difficult way.

REMEMBER TO SAVE THE BACKUP OF THE ORIGINAL IMAGE OF YOUR SCOPE ON YOUR HARD DISK, AFTER HAVE DONE IT LAUNCHING THE FIRST OF THE 3 FILES!
