In a shocking crime in Indore, an MBA student was murdered by her acquaintance. According to police reports, the victim was tied, gagged, and strangulated in a premeditated act. After the murder, the accused reportedly mistreated the dead body and attempted to perform occult rituals, allegedly after searching on YouTube for occult practices.

The victim and accused knew each other for about a year. The dispute escalated over marriage pressure and personal issues, and the accused had developed an obsessive and insecure mindset, especially regarding the victim’s interactions with other men.

On February 10, the accused lured the victim to his room, where an argument took place. He then strangled her with a rope while consuming alcohol. After the crime, he traveled to Panvel by train and allegedly sent videos from the victim’s phone to a group, attempting to defame her character.

The body was recovered from the room on February 13, and the accused was arrested on February 14. The post-mortem report is still awaited, but police confirmed that the victim’s hands and legs were tied, and her mouth was gagged to prevent screaming. Investigators are also evaluating his psychological state, as his actions suggest he may be mentally disturbed.

The police are continuing a thorough investigation into the case.
