June 15 2026 -Susie Fledges - Beautiful Departure from the Nest & Visits DCT - NCTC Bald Eagles

Описание: Congratulations Susie on taking your first flight off the nest, it was a perfect fledge from the nest at 80 days/11.42 weeks of age Susie looked like a pro! Later Susie is spotted at the nearby Daycare Trees practicing flight, landing and departures!!! Well done Susie you did it your way!!!

Thanks to the USFWS and the National Conservation Training Center for all that they do to keep us connected to Bella, Scout and the kids Susie and RJ "Little Bit"!

About the NCTC Eagle Cams
This project is a partnership between the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Outdoor Channel, and the Friends of the National Conservation Training Center. We also acknowledge the many dedicated eagle fans from around the country and the world who have been with us from the beginning, and who have provided a great deal of support for this project.

The eagle nest is located approximately 75 miles from Washington, D.C. on the campus of The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services' National Conservation Training Center (NCTC). The campus is in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, approximately 1/4 mile from the Potomac River.
