Torstein Meling & Jacques Morcos discuss Global Collaboration in Neurosurgery

Описание: Torstein Meling, President of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS), and Jacques Morcos, President of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), discuss the successful collaboration between the two societies especially through the EANS-AANS Resident Exchange Program 2025. Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the program provides complimentary registration for neurosurgical residents selected by either association to attend courses organised by the partner society.

Additionally, Jacques extends a special invitation to European neurosurgeons to attend the AANS Annual Meeting – AANS Congress 2025, taking place from 25-28 April 2025, in Boston. The theme of the event, "Power of One – Impact of Many," underscores the significance of global collaboration in neurosurgery.

Jacques also encourages neurosurgeons from AANS to attend the EANS 2025 Meeting in Vienna. The conversation explores the mutual benefits of learning from colleagues on different continents, with both leaders acknowledging the enormous value of sharing diverse perspectives and practices.
