Highland Cathedral
“Highland Cathedral” was produced, arranged, and composed by Uli Roever and Michael Korb in Berlin‑Kladow and released as a single in 1982.
The Pipes & Drums and Military Band of The Royal Highland Fusiliers, led by Pipe Major Gavin Stoddart, were the first pipe band to publish Highland Cathedral — in 1986 on their album “Proud Heritage.”
The melody has also appeared in several vocal versions: the German songs “Steh wieder auf” and “Du bes die Stadt,” the English version “Always You” sung by Hilary Bell, and a U.S. release by Amy Grant, who included Highland Cathedral on her album “A Christmas to Remember.”
