Atomos Ninja V with Nikon Z6: 10 bit N-Log Video

The Nikon Z cameras are capable of producing excellent video internally, at 8 bit colour depth. But adding the Atomos Ninja V opens up the option of 10-bit N-Log recording and greater dynamic range.
A paid factory upgrade adds 12-bit ProRes Raw recording -- a first for Raw recording via HDMI.
In this tutorial, I explain my (late) adoption of the system, basic set-up and recording, and the pros and cons of Log recording with the Nikon Z6.
