It is early Fall and our first frost is not far away but, since it only took three weeks for our blackberries to grow roots, we have enough time to propagate more. Also, since I have so many blackberry runners, I will get creative on what to use to propagating them. I'll use sheep troughs.

Newtown Orchard and Nursery is a family-run, small nursery just north of Springfield, Missouri. We are open seasonally and sell vegetable starts, perennials, shrubs, and trees, including many different types of fruit bearing plants. We are also growing an all-natural (as much as we can) apple orchard. Our first big harvest of apples is expected in fall of 2026.
