Despite the title, which is 100% for SEO, and the thumbnail, which is just for fun, I genuinely don't believe in the concept of "carrying." It's a team game, and the entire team is responsible for the win, loss, or draw. But even if you play badly at first and even if you make a lot of mistakes, you can still have huge impact and be there for your team when they need it most.
Listen, I was playing like an absolute loon on first and second point, but on third point, I really pulled it together. There are some very questionable resses, as always, and that's something I plan to work on. There are a lot of questionable plays! But I did specific things that I'm proud of, and overall, I tried to focus on the basics and not do anything fancy. Nine times out of ten, all you need are the basics.
I'm proud of a lot of things about this game! On third point, I did a really good job trying to play far in the back so Sombra's EMPs might not affect me, and I ended up dodging two EMPs. I was constantly moving. I think I balanced healing and damage boosting pretty well. What I especially like about this game is how it proves Mercy is still strong without the S-tier damage boost targets like Ashe, Cassidy, Soldier, etc. Every ally can and should be a damage boost target at different times!
Our other support swapped a lot, but I didn't mind and still don't mind because the swaps seemed to help. Our tanks weren't quite in sync, but they still tried to work together. Torb and Sym were really great at the end, and our Sym's walls came in clutch.
Overall, a really fun game on third point, and I'm proud of the way I made intentional changes to enable my team more effectively.
