Short Tutorial showing how to get some more fun of this OLD PC steering wheel.
I have played Life For Speed with this modification, and it worked just ok.
How it works:
The encoder inside the steering wheel generates pulses and sends them to the controller in the steering wheel.
The modification showed in this video reduces the number of generated pulses, by doing this as you rotate the wheel the encoder simply generates less pulses and also makes your wheel less precise.
In short, by covering the holes we are cheating the controller because it "thinks" that we rotate the wheel slowly, but really we rotate the wheel as always it just counts the pulses a lot slower.
by playing with the steering wheel settings in the game we can get some decent results ash shown in the video. Have fun!
I got best results with the modification playing Life For Speed.
