Inspired by Cuban Son and Trova Tradicional, 1000 Palabras brings a modern vision to AfroCuban roots and rhythms. Composed by Elizabeth Rodriguez (violin and vocals) and arranged by Magdelys Savigne (congas and vocals)
Taking its name from the word for SOUL in the Afro-Cuban religion of Santaria, OKAN is a women-led contemporary Afro-Cuban band.
