In 1980, 40 years ago, the cult film STAR WARS™ - The Empire Strikes Back™ was released. On the occasion of this anniversary, the New Zealand Mint has struck this limited coin set including a 1 Oz silver coin and a 5 gr. silver coin note. The motive of the coin features a colored depiction of Darth Vader™. Additionally, there are several engraved iconic TIE-fighters as a symbol for the Imperial fleet and the 40th Anniversary logo. The motive of the silver coin note features a replica of the original 1980 film poster in color - a highlight for every STAR WARS™ fan.
