The Seven Summits mountain bike ride covers approximately 35 kms along a ridge line between seven mountains in the range just west of Rossland, BC. The ride offers spectacular views of the West Kootenay mountain range. It is frequently ranked as one of British Columbia's best mountain bike trails and among the best in all of North America. A steep 600 meter climb at the outset is followed by a slightly technical, undulating and flowing trail which then descends nearly 2,000 meters towards the town of Rossland. Enroute, the trail crosses the upper slopes of the Red Mountain ski resort.
