What a fairytale ending it was for Peter on his competition debut, taking out Pro Compact class in the PACJNR 13B RX3 at the 2024 Brisbane Jamboree
Peter and his crew had a David & Goliath battle, competing against much quicker cars and more experienced racers in the class, but with grit and determination the boys powered through, running some solid & consistent passes & making it to the final... A race that almost didn't happen due to an issue that would have put a premature end to their efforts if not for persistence, a never-say-die attitude
Thankfully, a keen eye located the problem with mere seconds to spare, and thanks to good sportmanship from our competitor Tony Grgich, the crew was able to get the car on the line and ready to race... And from there, the rest is history as they say, with Peter bringing home his first Billet J
Special thanks must also go out to Nathan from Connexion Concepts for carrying out an in-field ECU repair & Monique Ambruosi for repairing a leaking radiator at 2am Saturday morning, both efforts above and beyond that keep't PACJNR racing!
